What's on my mind

Hello, hi, what's up? It's been a while  since I've been on this blog. I shall begin by saying, much love to everyone that has been supporting me throughout life in general. You know, I was thinking last night, the journey, has been an interesting one. Whether it be, me as a shepherd boy, watching my cattle, hanging out by the riverside, or me being taken away from my mom and my family,or coming to America, being doubted, going through school, being part of two non-profit organizations, trying to help out my country, or having the confidence to be who I am today. And now, being in a position, three weeks and two internships away, having a bachelor's degree, and a minor in sports coaching, I don't know, I am kind of lost for words. It has been a long ride, but the ride is not over yet. People are telling me I should walk at graduation, but I said no. And this is the reason; personally I feel like it is not an accomplishment unless it comes with a real job. Currently about 70% of blind people in the United States are unemployed. So, that is why I think getting a real job would be better than walking at graduation. There are so many people that think, that being close to finishing college, from day one for my mom and dad they gave me this opportunity to come to the U.S. Chris and Chuck. And then my teachers, since day one, my great ESL teacher, most of my math teachers, all of my P.E. coaches, and then all the great college teachers that I had. They know who they are. Of course all my friends and family, around the world. If it wasn't for you guys, I wouldn't be here. Of Course, also, music and sports. This is it for now. We will be back later. Go Lakers! Go Cardinals! Go St. Louis fans! and go Colorado Storm!

Rage of Fire

What's up good people? I just want you guys to check out this new song. It's called rage of fire. I just get frustrated with people doubting me and doubting people with disabilities. They think we can't do anything and now I'm speaking out for all those with disabilities. Hollah at yo boy, E money in the building.

Rage of fire

As I grew life got better,
And being blind became whatever,
It ain’t a disability, it is what you make it be,
First round eleventh pick
The Johnston select the true player from Ethiopia,
He hop on a plane and came to show ya
What true dedication hard work is about
He fought through all the discrimination and the doubt
To climb to the top, if you think you can stop him, guess what you’re not

A little kid in the streets
Beggin for change
Having nothing to eat, being poor, being beaten,
For no reason,

Now I am in the 303, eating filet mignon, lying in the weeds,
Like a lion waiting to take down a wildabeast,
I feast off your negativity, you tell me I can’t do it, wait you will see,
I thank you to my enemies, if it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t be me
Now I’m on the beep ball field getting the MVP trophies,
Or on the basketball court knocking down 3’s,
Ya, go ahead crowd yell my name, they call me E money, aka the king of east gojam,
Hahaha, ya, guess what, that’s where I’m from,
Representing the green, yellow, and red,
To the people that blinded me, while you sittin there trying to earn money,
I’m sittin here eating peanut butter and jelly,

To the haters, let’s go
To the lovers, lets flow
Let’s get together, let’s glow
You know I’ve been doing this for 20 some years

There was times that I wanted to give up and quit,
But the fire and the desire that was built in told me there was no quittin’
So I just busted my ass off, got up to the challenge,
The number one goal was to finish school,
The number two goal was to graduate from college,
And I’m about to accomplish that challenge,
Challenge, challenge, challenge,

As I grew life got better,
And being blind became whatever,
It ain’t a disability, it is what you make it be,
So all you fake ass people, get outta my way, as I leave you in the dust,
There’s a smile a wave, as I fly away,

Tired

What's up folks (if anyone is reading this crap)? Todays thoughts are... got up at 6 o'clock in the morning. Then I went to the bathroom, took a pee, and went back into my room and listened to my speech for class that I had to make at 8am. I was the second person to present my speech which was about my street life back in the day when I was 8 years old. I personally felt like I wasn't talked clear enough but they said I was fine. It was kind of weird because I was telling a depressing story at 8am, it was kind of awkward. Then 3 hours went by and I had my last class which was pointless. I sat around talking about nonsense - I could have been home taking a nap. But, no, I'm here with the coolest person in the world - Nikita Patel from Chicago standing at 5'5". Anyway, that is it for today - I'm going to go workout and then just chill. That's it - shout out to all my Ethiopian people. Keep working hard and much love! :)
